To all of the Schmidtz family-I was sorry to hear of David's passing. I remember as kids having so much fun with him when our families got together. My deepest sympathy to all of you. Sandi (Williman) Paxton

David was a loving and devoted partner to Jay, a good friend, and a hardworking, generous, kind human being. Beneath that quiet demeanor, he was funny, charming, and passionate about opera. We will greatly miss him.
Our sincere sympathy to his family.
