I met the Scotts when I was hired at Knollwood Garden Center in Beavercreek in 1994. I really enjoyed working for/with them the three years I spent in their employ. Dave was rather stoic and reminded so much of my own father, I couldn´t resist pulling some mild practical jokes, often aided and abetted by his wife... telling him I used the different colors of flowers to spell risqué words in the flower beds (he went out to check), showing up with my arm in a sling to wrap poinsettias (he...
