Mr. David "Doc" Shade

David "Doc" R. Shade, 59, of Erdman, PA, passed away Monday, February 13th, peacefully, at Spring Creek Rehab and Health Care, Harrisburg, PA. David was born in Sacramento, Pa. on December 29, 1952, a son of the late Eva F (Klinger) and Marlin E. Shade. He worked as a Butcher at Bixler's Meats, Sacramento, PA. He was a member of Spruce Spring Hunting Camp, Mifflin County; Erdman Sprotsmen's Asso., Erdman; Valley Lodge 797, Valley View; Valley View Gun Club, Valley View; Veteran's of the American Legion, Valley View; and the Gratz Fire Company, Gratz. David is survived by a daughter, Amanda Shade, of Elizabethville, PA; a son, Tony Baker, of Virginia Beach, VA; a step daughter, Carmen Alexande, of Charleroi, PA; two step sons Damon Lentz, of Dalmatia, PA; Brian Lentz, of Bethel, PA; David is also survived by a sister, Alice Graby, of Annville, PA. four grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. Memorial Service at Zion Klinger's Lutheran Church, Erdman, PA, at 1:00pm on Friday, February 17th, with Rev. Jan Mills officiating.
