Not sure what to say?

Dear Leslie,
I am SO sorry. As soon as Sarah told me, I felt guilty because I can't be there for you and your family. Please know, that you are in our thoughts and prayers and if you need anything ... ANYTHING .. just let us know!!
God Bless you now and especially during this holiday season as it will be tough, but just remember, he is watching over you.

My family and I will have you in our prayers. It was always a joy to see you both at Christmas. You will be in my thoughts during this season. Love, Flip

Steve and family,

My deepest condolences to you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May the Good Lord comfort you and walk beside you. May He reach out and touch you and guide you through this time.

Dear Leslie and family,,

We will be with you tomorrow . . . . our prayers are with you now . . . . .and always take comfort in knowing that he now resides with the Angels and . . . . The Lord. It is our Faith and knowing that . . . . will raise us up and lift our sorrows . . . . making all . . . . bearable and to be able to love, laugh, and truly live on . . . . .with our wonderful memories. Peace be with you.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Thank you for sharing your father with me; because of him I learned what a real dad should be, loyal and strong. .

It was with sadness I learned of Mr. Shaughnessy's passing. It was a privilege knowing him and being one of his physician's. I will miss his mischevious sense of humor and our talks of wolves, music and other wonderous things.

I had the pleasure of working with Dave occasionally in the years he worked at Fort Monroe. It was always a pleasure to talk with him. He had a depth of knowledge and wisdom most people never attain. I especially enjoyed his sense of humor. He will be missed by many people, including me. I know this is a difficult time, but make sure to take a moment and be thankful for all the good times you had together.

Dear Shaughnessy family, We are very sad to hear of Dave's passing. We plan to attend his services on Tuesday. Please know that we will keep him and your family in our prayers. God bless you at this tough time.

Just wanted to let you know how sorry I was to hear about Dave. He was a wonderful co-worker and will be missed. Still remember all the wonderful years I spent working with him while I was in the DCSINT. My prayers go out to you and your family.
