Not sure what to say?

My memories of David span a lifetime. His sister, Mary, was and is, my best friend. I knocked on their door each morning and we walked to school together. We always felt safe with David there to protect us. I worried along with his family as he dieted on jello and oranges to make his wrestling weight. David, along with his entire family, were like my own. Many nights he or his dad would walk me home from an event or school activity. The last time I saw Dave was in Kingston, at the...

Dear Simon family,

I'm saddened to hear of your loss. Dave, MR. Simon, was my math teacher at Paint Branch for a couple of years and even as a teenager it was apparent that he took a sincere interest in the teaching and mentoring of young kids. Having lost my father to cancer I can feel your loss and frustration with this horrible experience.

My sincere condolences,

Doug Crooke

As a current Computer Science professor, I often tell my students of teachers I've had in the past who have influenced me. Mr Simon was one of those people who I hold deep in my heart. Just know that he has left a legacy that will live forever.

Dear Jimmy,Tommy, Mary, Patti & Family,

I am so sorry to hear about David's passing. I did not know until this week. I remember all the wonderful times we had when we were together at mom and dad's house at the holidays. He was truly a great person. Please know that my prayers are with all of you.

It was a privilege to have known and been coached by Mr. Simon. He was loved and respected by our family, I know my Mom had a special place in her heart for him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow.

Dear Patti and Family,
We are incredibly sorry to hear of Dave's passing. We first turned to Dave as our realtor, but then he became our friend. God bless your family. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

To the Simon Family,

We just found out about this yesterday and I cannot even begin to tell you how sorry I am to hear about your loss. Your family always treated me as if I was one of your own and I wish I would have known about this sooner to make plans to attend the ceremony.

All my love and prayers go out to you all.

To the Simons,

Although we had lost track of Dave's course through life, as a fellow high school wrestler, summer-time soda jerk and neighbor, we remember fondly an energetic, outgoing young man. A friend to everyone, his enthusiasm for life, respect for parents and love of family and friends spilled over into all that he touched. The measure of a man is how he lived and the difference he made in the lives of those he came into contact with. It sounds as though Dave was very...

I cannot express how sorry I was to learn of Dave's passing. He was a great inspiration and friend to me. I met Dave thru our shared real estate experiences and always looked forward to working with him. He met the challenges of our business with such intelligence, grace and humor. I miss him and wish I could have worked with him more often. My sincerest condolences to his family.
