David Simonson

David was quite a guy. He had a great sense of humor. He was good about saving tomato plants for me at the annual sale at Hovander. He will be missed! I had him as a teacher and also worked with him at the school for a couple years. He will be missed!

One of my favorite teachers...ever. Mr. Simonson did the best he could with my inability with commercial subjects. I've told him that he probably was the reason I became a nurse. He agreed with me that was probably my best option. We used to enjoy attending his master gardener programs down at Hovander Park. He had a wonderful dry wit and we probably didn't tell him how much he was appreciated. I will do my best to follow his wishes, and I will try to be kinder......he will be...

God Bless David! One of our best teachers! So happy you came to Blaine High School to teach the commercial classes in 1957; my senior year. Always smiling and such a good soul! How fortunate BHS was that you were on the staff of 31 years! Rest well.

My condolences to the Simonson family. Mr. Simonson was my Business Education teacher in Blaine. I took all of his classes and enjoyed them all. He retired the year I graduated high school. Dorothy Bond
