DAVID STARR Obituary

STARR, Dr. David Zalman Of Sharon, MA entered into rest on January 17, 2022 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Sharon (Plotnick) Starr. Devoted father of Bayle Starr and her partner Nadav and Melissa Starr and her partner Jack. Loving brother of Donald Starr and his wife Susan. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. David was born to Morris "Misha" and Fani Starr in Winnipeg, Canada in 1945. He raised his family in Massachusetts, working as a trusted psychiatrist in Brockton for almost half a century. He was dedicated to supporting his patients, and was a prominent and respected member of his community. His greatest love was for family. Funeral Services on Fri, Jan 21 at 11:00 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington St, Canton. Face coverings are required. Livestream at tinyurl.com/DrStarrFuneral Interment at Sharon Memorial Park. Shiva at his late residence after Shabbat on Sat, Jan 22 from 5-8 PM and Sun, Jan 23 from 4-7 PM. I have wonderful memories as a patient of his for 12 years. He always helped me out and was very caring and compassionate during my hardest times. We had some great laughs together and I will miss him greatly
