Not sure what to say?

I was Dave's Assistant Principal at Bennion Junior High. Dave and I became good friends. I appreciated his advise and direction. Dave is a really good man whom I call my friend!

Dear Carolyn and family,
We are very sorry to hear about Dave's passing. We are sorry that he was sick so long. We are really sorry that we couldn't go to his funeral. We would have loved to have been there.
He was our good friend, especially mine because I was his Vice Principal at Bennion Junior High. We had a great time together. I am very short and he was a big man. We looked like Mutt and Jeff, but we made a good team.
Dave and you introduced us to the...

Bishop Stevens was a wonderful person! He gave me great advice and was very kind. I missed seeing him and Carolyn after we moved and then they moved, but they were good friends. I'm sad to see that he is gone. We'll see you on the other side! Love you! Aleta Sumner

Dear Carolyn and family, I was sorry to read of Dave's passing. Dave and I were administrators in Granite School District at the same time. He was a great listener and was always willing to help. He will be missed.

Dear Carolyn and family,
I was sorry to hear of Dave's passing; we were in administration at the same time in Granite School District. He was a great listener and a man who always offered his help...he will be missed; my sincere condolences to all of you.

I was teaching at West Lake Junior High School when Dave became the principal there. He was always so thoughtful and kind. He knew how much I wanted to transfer to a high school. He was instrumental in my transferring to Skyline High School in the middle of the school year and in spite of my being his math department chair at the time. I got to work with him again years later at Granger High School. I am grateful to have known him and grateful for the opportunity he gave me to grow. ...

Our deepest sympathies to you and your family.
