Not sure what to say?

Our family grew up beside The Stouts in Irmo. My fondest memory was when I walked the Kirkland Kindergarden Mr. Stout was working on making his fishing flies. God Bless the family. The Padgett Family.

Another Angel in Heaven. Love from the Sale Family

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

We have lost another true Irmonian. I remember growing up in Irmo and going to the house at the bottom of the hill to play with all of you. Your Dad would play with us. It was a more simpler time back then. It's memories like those that you need to cherish and hang on to. May God bless each and every one of you during this difficult time.

I'll never forgot the time my dad was on the church steps asking Mr.Bert about fishing in Moutain City after my dad had read an article in a magazine. My dad knew he was from that area....just not "the" fishing holes. What wonderful memories I have of your family..not only the Irmo people, but the Mountain City family and Rubin and Jo. It has been the memories that have made our heritage move forward. May these memories be a joy and a comfort during this transition time. God bless each of you.

Just want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We know what a special part of your family Bert was and what wonderful memories he left each of you. Treasure those memories which will keep him alive in your hearts.

Mary, Elaine, Bo, and Dave, our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Mr. Bert was a wonderful man--so kind. His love for the Lord and being a servant was so evident through the years at Dutch Fork Baptist. He set such a good example for others. We will miss him.
