Not sure what to say?

Kathryn and Will, I was so sorry to see your dad had passed. I remember him as being so supportive of whatever you guys did. He drove Kathryn around selling Girl Scout cookies and she was the highest seller in our troop for many years. He was a kind and gentle man.

Diane , Kathryn and , William,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Saddened that I was unable to be there to share a memory about a life to be celebrated. While it hurts so deeply to know David is not with us, remembering those special moments he brought to all our lives will soften the pain you feel today. Please know you are all in my prayers.

I knew David as the father of one of my girl scouts he was a quiet and peaceful man, his love for his family was dear and very present.

David and I were best friends for 50 years. NEVER did we fight, disagree yes. He was always there for me, giving me his advice which sounded like my dad. We both knew this was a tough battle, he NEVER complained. I loved him with all my heart. You are home now. REST IN PEACE

We are so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful friend. David will always hold such a special place in our hearts, just as he did the day he was the Best Man at our wedding. Rest in peace, our dear friend.

I was a classmate of David's. It has been many years since I got to visit with him and to find out he lived just around the corner from me makes me even sadder that we never knew. I Would have loved to see that great smile of his, he was always so kind and good for a good laugh. His friend and forever classmate, Becky LeBleu Fontenot- cooney

Big Stu was a great guy. I had not seen him in many years. We played football together at Nederland High School. I am sad to hear about his passing (60 is still young). My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My heart is broken to lose such a sweet guy from our class of '71... So glad we were able to visit at the last reunion. Prayers for all of David's family. He indeed will always be in the class of 1971's hearts...

I'm so sad to hear of David's passing! Prayers to the family. My thoughts are with you all.
