Not sure what to say?

I still think of him often - and his wonderful smile and quiet sense of humor. A shame he had so much more to give and to given too.

Yes only my doctor ONLY ONLY not really so many years later it breaks my heart to know he is gone. Not that many people touch me (oops) like he did but he got my sense of humor and always laughed as I did when he knocked on the door before an exam - HOW FUNNY THAT WAS - he got to saying Avon Man can i come in!!!!!!!! What a great loss -

I do not know what made me think of Dr. Thayer but i did, googled and shocked and really upset. I moved to L.A. about 8 years ago so didnt know he was sick. I cannot begin to tell you how upset I was. We had a 'special' relationship - humor even tho he was my doctor. He was wonderful, funny, compassionate and i can hear his soft spoken voice just now. I am so sorry for ALL our loss. I cannot believe how this touched me.

I am so deeply saddened about Dr Thayer’s passing. I have always considered him to be the best doctor I have ever had! He has made such a difference in the world and has touched so many lives! ...I will always remember you. A life well lived...

Dear Charmaine,I am deeply saddened to be notified of Davids passing, when, today, I opened Jeffersons alumni correspondence. I send my heartfelt condolences to you and your family.David and shared a special bond-we were fraternity brothers at both Grove City(Kappa Alpha Phi) and at Jefferson(Nu Sigma Nu and Kappa Beta Phi)-probably having set a record for being triple brothers-rest in peace my dear BROTHER-YOU fought a gallant battle...Frank Kucer.

I have never had a doctor I respected more. The love and support of family and friends will help you through this difficult time.

I remember Dr. Thayer well.
I was a patient in Cortland where he practiced.
He was very well liked and sought out by many OB/GYN patients.
Dr. Thayer has been missed in Cortland.
Dr. Thayer made a difference and broke the mold of doing things "the old way".
RIP Dr. Thayer
