Not sure what to say?

Wow! He must a key in my life between 1978-1987 at Latin as it was fun toi watch him interact with the students and coach. I enjioyed teaching his children. God Bless!

I don't know if this is the correct David Thompson, my belated condolences for your Dad's passing. His works speak a lot of who he was. Am a native of Ebuhonga, Kenya... my brother is pastoring a new congregation for Church of Christ he told me of a David Thompson visiting from NC. If you are not the one forgive me. Thanks

Dear Rhetta and Family. We are so sorry to hear of David's passing. We didn't find out until yesterday. We hold you up in our prayers. There are many fond memories. One in particular is Santa on the roof and a very young David awaitng his arrival. One could hear the reindeer pawing on the rooftop! Another is a visit to your home on the lake with my daddy. Navy men love their water! Keep faith in your heart and if it starts to dwindle, remeber the mustart seed in Matthew.

Dear Rhetta and Family. We just found about David yesterday. We are so sorry. We are keeping you in our prayers to have peace in your hearts. Keep your faith, even if it is as small as a mustard seed.

Thanks, Dave, for being a great coach to me and many others at Albemarle Road - you challenged us and inspired us. And thanks for being a great boss at the swim club. And most of all, thanks for your friendship.

My prayers go out for Dave and his family.

Dave and my husband, Gil Murdock (PDS), worked/coached together in the 70' s and 80's. While they were competitors, there was always mutual respect. I worked with Dave at Latin in the early 80's; many fond memories. May God grant you peace and friends provide comfort. With best regards ~ Linda Murdock

David had a wonderful sense of humor as did his children. Watching him coach the cast of characters he had in those early years was a real joy about which we had lots of laughs. He did make a difference while he was at Latin,. Jim Slick Rutherford

My thoughts and prayers are with coach Thompson's family. He was a super nice and very decent sort of fellow. He welcomed me at Latin with open arms. I really can think of know words to express how fond of him I was. I wish I could be there to celebrate his life with you all. He will surely be missed.
