I miss my dear friend. Can't tell you how much I think of him and say a little prayer all the time. Known him since grade school as well as his precious brothers. God takes the good as he’s in heaven with my daughter and son. Chris and Bridget. Love to the family

David was a friend to me and a teacher to my younger brothers. I still have a picture of David and my brother Jon on the dock, when they had just come in from a canoe trip. They are smiling the most joyful smiles. David often led the trips with the youngest children because he was so magical with them. The trips usually lasted a month and the days were long and hard as each person was required to carry canoes and heavy packs along rugged trails deep into the wilderness and as far North as the shores of the Hudson Bay.
