A truly great loss for those that knew and loved him. He was quite the character - great sense of humor and his loyalty and friendship he offered and shared with many. A "WARRIOR" on the playing field - a great teammate.

I met Dave at Cortland and played lacrosse with him there. Dave was always funny and really easy to be friends with. Great person. My deepest condolences.

I was Dave's hairstylist, he literally just came in for his haircut last week. I'm so shocked and sad to see this. He was always loyal and kind to me. He definitely loved his profession and spoke about it during every appointment. Very sorry to his family, friends and students who loved him.
