Not sure what to say?

I am happy but not at all surprised that people continue to express their respect and caring for David more than 10 years after he passed away. Every July 4th, I am reminded of the time we played at one of El Paso's 1975 bicentennial celebrations. The 25+ years Dave and I, along with his brother Philip and other friends, hung out together were full of non-stop adventures. As the song goes, I always thought that I'd see you, one more time again. Maybe eventually.

So hard to believe it's been 11yrs. my dear friend. Sending prayers to your family.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Miss you my friend...

Wow, it's been 12yrs. my friend... I will always cherish our friendship and laughs we shared. You're a good man and I'll never forget you... Much love!!

Friend and colleague. David grew up in El Paso and first played in a band called Highway (originally Peppermint Highway) there from the late 1960s through much of the 1970s. I got to know him at Irvin High School (we graduated together) and was honored to play with Highway for the last 2 years the band was together. The picture is of David with Highway opening for Jefferson Airplane at the El Paso County Coliseum around 1970. He´d been gone for a while but far from forgotten.

Missing you my friend! :(

Another message to you my friend, we'll see each other soon enough at that great concert in the sky. I will miss you very much!
