Not sure what to say?

David was one of my most important teachers at the Collegiate School in Manhattan, and I was deeply affected upon hearing the news of his passing. With love and deepest sympathies to his entire family... Nicholas Sands

I had the privilege of being a student of David´s at Exeter in the early 70´s and as an A-S alum was absolutely thrilled when he became Headmaster. By every measurement, he was a magnificent Head, not least for his immense humanity and his dedication to developing students´ characters and community service. We are all as diminished by his passing as we were the better for knowing him.

David Trower was a truly outstanding man who contributed so much to so many people and to Allen-Stevenson. He is dearly missed. Our sincere condolences to his family. Pamela D'Arc and Andrew Corwin

My condolences to his wife, daughter, and the rest of his family. His...

In loving memory of David, a wonderful man who lived a wonderful life! Godspeed Mr. Trower!!

So very sad to hear this news. My husband and I just saw David at the Memorial for Mr. Kersey two weeks ago and he seemed well and happy and told us how much he was enjoying his retirement. Just sad that he did not have time to enjoy more of it! He will be much missed and always brought happiness and joy to the world with his smile.
