I believe David was an angel on earth ... he definitely made a difference in my family's life... A true definition of a wonderful man would be David Charles Updike

As a Past employee of Cambridge University Press- I would like to offer condolences to the Friends and family of David. He ran a tight ship and he will be remembered by many. Heartfelt sorrow.

You were the best boss I have ever had, so caring, generous and full of life! Not many people can say that their boss really cared about his staff, you did! I will miss David as a neighbor in N.Myrtle Beach and never forget how nice he was to my 96 year old mother when he would bring over home cooked meals for her (think she had a secret crush on him)!! He would do anything for anyone in need.Our neighborhood will miss you lots David & Churchhill!!! Pat
