I knew David quite well. We grew up together and lived on the same street (Manhattan Ave) in Hawthorne, NY. We went to the same schools together; Holy Rosary in Hawthonre and Stepinac HS in White Plains. We spent many hours riding bikes, hiking (we once, with a couple of other friends, hiked from Hawthorne to the Hudson river, near Phelps Memorial Hospital and back! Quite a long trip, but it was fun. We also played baseball, football and other childrens' games while living in Hawthorne. ...
