A minute doesn't go by that I don't miss your presence. You left far to soon. I hope you know how loved. you are and how grateful I am that I was able to share the last 9 months with you here in Maine. I love you ..now and always.

I have such fond memories of singing with David at St. Matthew´s Episcopal Church in Wilton. Those were special years, and David´s presence in the choir was always a gift-his voice, his musicianship, and most of all, his kindness. I remember how proud he was of Audrey when she was just a little girl. Whenever she joined him at church, he absolutely beamed. Though we lost touch over the years, I always valued our friendship. I hardly ever pop on the obits but was sorry today to read of David's passing, though glad to hear of the wonderful life he had. David and I met in elementary school, and I still remember his lead role in "Amahl and the Night Visitors" in Bridgeport, when I think were were in 6th grade and our class went to see him perform. Another memorable moment was during Fairfield's Memorial Day parade our senior year of high school, when I was the back-up to sing The Star-Spangled Banner at Town Hall...

I am so sorry to read about David's passing. We worked together at Citizens Utilities back in the day, and I vividly recall the skinniest man I had ever seen coming into my office to ask about corporate support for a chorale group in Fairfield. He was a passionate performer and supporter. I was in charge of the company's donation purse strings at the time, so I half-jokingly said, "If you want money, you'll have to sing for me." And he DID! What a voice - people came from other offices...
