Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to all who knew David.

David was such a fabulous person, always smiling, sharp wit, always doing something creative, great fun to be around, such a positive energy about him, a virtual whirlwind of activity, a rare individual indeed. He left the world a better place than he found it. He will be greatly missed. My heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Joe , his family, and his many many friends. May he rest in peace.

Goodbye “bunny rabbit “ fly high with Bondi!

Joe and Family: We came to the Jenkins Inn as customers many years ago looking for a wonderful dining experience. We certainly got that and much more. Your and David´s friendship. David was a master of culinary excellence, never disappointing in his creations. But he was also a humble and gracious man who also possessed a devilish sense of humor! We also looked forward to having the last reservation of the evening because we could " shoot the breeze" with you two. We know if prayers alone...

Thank you to everyone for your kind words, thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. Dave had a big heart, and always put 100% into everything he ever did. The family is grateful for your posts, and happy that his friends cared enough to do so. We aren’t surprised by this. Love, peace, and eternal friendship to all of you also.

We celebrated so many birthdays and anniversaries at the Jenkins Inn and it was always so comforting to be greeted by David and Joe and marvel at the warm atmosphere and delicious meals David prepared for us. Our heartfelt condolences to Joe and David's family. Peace and Prayers, Joyce & Rich Godfrey
