I have great memories with Dave. Not only was he a family friend since before I can remember, but later on became my softball coach and mentor. He taught me so much about the game, being a team, and sportsmanship. His passion for the game was amazing. A true coach and inspiration, but most of all a great friend. RIP Coach Dave.

True to his character Dave never let his personal struggles get in the way way of a hearty hello and a big smile. Through softball and mostly just being a genuinely great guy he touched many lives in a positive way. I am better for having known him and saddened by his passing. Reva, Kelly and George I'm sorry for your loss. We'll all always remember Dave.

Dave was a fierce competitor on the field. I remember him well but haven't seen him in over 45 years.
