I was friends with David in college. He was absolutely the best. It didn't get any better than playing pick-up basketball with my friend.

Mr. Wheeler was my science teacher and my daughter's. As luck would have it, we also played basketball together at Dow Park gym for many years, at time with his sons.
My blessing to have crossed paths with him as a student, and blessed again as friends on the basketball court.

Mr Wheeler was my science teacher at Deer Park junior high many years ago (I'm 55) then he taught my son science (he is 27). We were both reminiscing the other day about how much fun and enthusiasm Mr Wheeler had when he taught. He made learning fun and touched thousands of students lives. We were both blessed to have been two of those he touched. God bless.
