Cathy Peoples and Family (Connor Peoples, IFPAA)

Our deepest condolences to Laurie, Jake, Chloe, and Ben. We did not have the honor of meeting David, nor his family, but have had the pleasure of knowing his brother for the better part of twenty years. Never the less, the messages posted here reflect on a young man with great compassion, respect, dedication, loyalty, and love not only for his family and those who knew him, but also for those who didn't have the pleasure of knowing him. Dear Laurie, Jake, Chloe, and Ben,

I am deeply sorry to hear about your loss. Mr. Winkworth was a gym teacher and basketball coach of mine. He was one of my favorite faculty members at Ingomar, as he was always was able to put a smile on my face. Mr. Winkworth was always friendly and caring. Your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Dearest Laurie:
Melissa shared your news with me this morning. Friend, we've been apart for too long. With tears in my eyes I'm thrilled to read about the wonderful man you called husband, and devastated at your loss. I have been and will continue to pray for you and your 3 kids, that the grace and hope of the Lord will sustain you.

Love,
Karen (Stoerker) Smith

He wasn't ever my teacher but he will be missed. I loved him! Always wished that I would've had him for a teacher. He was the best. My prayers go out to his family.

Dave will be missed by all of us at IMS. Prayers are with you.

Dear Laurie, Jake, Chloe, and Ben,

My deepest condolences for your loss. Mr. Winkworth was my gym teacher for two years, and he was a great man. He was a caring and steady presence for his students and he will be dearly missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
