Not sure what to say?

David,

I am sorry I have only gotten around to writing this now. I just wanted to let you know that since your passing, I have made a better effort to keep in touch with those who were part of the ISA family. I am glad we got each other, especially during the hectic trip to Zacatecas sophomore year. You were obviously missed a lot, and I regret that I did not get to say goodbye. I hope this will make for it.

David, our toast to life

I miss you David.

Time has the habit of ticking away
Each breath a moment gone
Every heartbeat a marching drum
A cadence of falling tears
For remaining years w/o you near

Ishmael

To those who are true to themselves in spite of the many averted glances...For those who not only stand tall but stride beyond the reach of the narrow minded and fearful... For those able to see through the haze of false illusions and grasp life with love and compassion...For those destined to breathe fresh air into a stale world....David you will forever be our hero!

You are missed Little one. Ishmael knows that you are ever present and still watching out for him...You just have...

David, i promise you that i will take good care of your mother, i know how much you loved her. Please look after her and your brothers as i know that you are in the presence of THE LORD, I loved you very much always just like one of my kids. I will see you another time. With much love your God Mother and Aunt Marcy

Dear Yasin Family. We were deeply saddened to hear of your terrible loss. I remember David well from his early Boy Scout days, I have great memories of a canoe trip to horshoe bend. David was at the rear of my canoe,it was his first and we weren't moving so I looked back and he was paddling backwards. I told him to watch me and soon we were on our way. David was around 11 or 12 years old.He and my sons Matt and Richard enjoyed their years in scouts because of the fun guys like David. Our...

David during our trip to Miami FL 2007. He loved the beach & was determined to "turn as brown as toast!"

David's Favorite graffiti wall art in the city. He loved that it was a combo of brush paint & spray paint

The day we decided to walk the entire city..6 miles...and discovered David's favorite graffiti walk art!

David, you were such an energetic and loving partner - the city and our home seems so empty now. Each street I walk seems to remind me of our many strolls together exploring the cityscape! Your wit and funny observations of life here pop into my mind daily and still make me smile. Thank you David for sharing your intensity, love, and passion...
Everyday now is Honor D.A.Y. for me - my first thought and first smile each day are yours my little prince.
