Not sure what to say?

All of the great influences in our lives are leaving us. Me Yeager was everything that everyone has written. Enjoy your time in glory with our lord. Class of´80 Fire HS

David Yeager was my orincipal when I taught at Furr High School. I learned many things about being a principal from him...namely, hire the best people you can, support them with budget needs, discipline needs and get out of their way and let them do what they do best...teach school. Much of what he did was manage by observing. I aooreciated working for him.

My deepest sympathy

As a student and proud graduate in the Great Class of '78 of Ebbert L. Furr Jr. Sr. High School - of which he was our well-respected Principal for many years - I am extending my deepest condolences to the family. May he rest in eternal peace and the family find consolation.

Mr. Yeager was a fantastic principal. He knew just abut every students name and prided himself on being able to do that. Some days he would roam the campus with a folding chair under his arm. You knew that meant that he was going to pop into a classroom and sit down and observe. I personally loved when he did that as it always meant that he would pipe up with a funny saying while he was there. Rest in peace Mr. Yeager.

RIP, good guy- treated all students with kindness and respect. FURR class of 82

You meant so much to the entire Armstrong family. You were an AMAZING principal and man. You were a warrior for your students and fought for us. You also created a deep love in me for the AGGIE football and encouraged me to attend the bonfire. We LOVE YOU! I will see you again one day, until then Rest in Peace.

Mr. Yeager was an awesome man. He always treated us with kindness and respect. He smile was infectious. My condolences and prayers to his family. Rest Easy Mr Yeager, until we meet again. Furr High Class of 81

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your dad. He was a wonderful kind and gentleman who always made us laugh when we were together. We know that he will be greatly missed by family and friends.
