Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry to learn of Dean's passing. I will dearly miss seeing him around the Oakland county courthouse. My condolences to his family.

Please accept my belated condolences. I just learned from a colleague at 1200 that Dean passed away. I first met Deano in 1981 when we were both 1Ls at Wayne State Law School. We had a lot of laughs together back in those days and, ever since, I always looked forward to running into him at 1200. People seemed to be drawn to him because he always had a hilarious story and wry remark. Many times I had to wait in line to talk to him. He was a one-of-a-kind. He will be missed by me and many...

So sorry to hear of Dean's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his Family and Friends. He was a great attorney and person. We met when I did some overflow work for Ivan, years ago. He was so gracious with his time and knowledge and helped me brainstorm through a few legal questions years after. His perspectives, sense of humor and laughter will be truly missed.

I am sorry for your loss

I was truly saddened to hear of Dean's passing. Dean was always a pleasure to work with in court. I've considered Dean a friend as well. A great guy to hang with and have a few beers after a stupid day in court. He'll truly be missed.
