Not sure what to say?

I'll never forget Dr. Hill's commitment to learning. I'll also never forget how he told us he spent $300 or more on a brand new Hewlett-Packard engineering calculator back in the 70's and then proceeded to calculate different values of e raised to a certain power. He himself was a lifelong student of many things including how to improve engines on his dynamometer. His dynamometer experiments were the high point of his educating us. Rest in peace, Dr. Hill.

Dr. Dean and I shared many memories over the years. Dean ran a dragster at the Albuquerque Dragway. The poster called it "Dr. Deans Hydazine Machine."

Nice Dean was an amazing man such a gentle soul l, I loved every minute I spent with him from the drag strip in the 70s to visiting in the final days , anytime my semi made it though New Mexico I always stopped. I'm still buying and driving cars I know Dr Hill would approve..rip I know the hill family is watching from above.

Dr. Hill was my favorite professor and a real stand-up guy. There was NEVER anybody who could equally him. He was a man amongst men. Goodbye, Dr. Hill, sorry to see you go.

Thank you Dean Hill, This was written to him on Sept. 28 2015. and read at the geezer luncheon.
Dean without you accepting me to work with you at the 1964 Winternationals event and Dale Ham recommending me to you, All the exsisting success's today of the Albuqurque Dragway would not have occurred.
Dean You started me on the path of working...

I have many fond memories of Dean and Jean. Dean was a counselor in my Bishopric in the 1970s in Terre Haute IN. I sang in a barbershop quartet for about 10 years with he and Jean. We practiced at his house at 7:00 every Tuesday. Dean helped me keep my automobiles running. He said he would fix my car if I tuned his piano. Later he said, "I will teach you how to fix your car if you continue to tune my piano." I will always have fond memories of Dean.

Sympathies to the Hill Family! I enjoyed seeing your dad one day when he was working at the FHC in SL. We were both surprised to see each other after many years! I remember Thanksgiving dinners at your house in TH! May good memories be yours!

I will never forget Dr. Hill when I worked as a secretary at the Mechanical Engineering department at NMSU many years ago. When he walked through the door every day, he was always smiling, always happy, and always took the time to ask me how my day was going. He once shared with me that he told his new classes each semester one of the keys to a successful academic career was to get to know the janitors and the secretaries. He said "the janitors have all the keys to open any lab or room in...

Dean Hill is one of the most influential men in my life. I know first hand that he was an extraordinary teacher. However, as successful as he was as a university professor, he was even more so as a missionary. I am eternally grateful that he taught me the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a subject of which he had a profound understanding. He was an authentically spiritual man who was most instrumental in my conversion and baptism into the church. That big event occurred after several years of...
