Not sure what to say?

Dean and I worked together at the Public Health Office, both as Disease Prevention Specialists. We sat across from each other and he felt like family to me. He was always in a great mood and constantly had me laughing. He was a genuinely, great guy and the world won´t be the same without him.

I am so sad!!! When Dean entered a room , he was like a red faced sun that lit up everything and everyone with his warmth, kindness and love. He and Anthony took me everywhere on my visits there. More recently in Sacramento there was so much joy and fun. The Spirit Is still with him now! Miss you Dude!!!

My gosh, I am so shocked. I just saw him - he looked amazing as always and said he was enjoying his retirement. We worked together on mental health issues for many years - Dean from the public school system, and I from the managed care side of the equation. Together, we strived to improve health, education, and prevention for our communities. Today, I shed tears for you, dear man. Thank you for gracing my life with your kindness, wisdom, and friendship.

My condolences for Dean! A dedicated man who worked for the good of all! I worked with back in Public Health ! May Dean rest in Peace! My Mass Intention will be for Dean and my thoughts and prayers! Fr. Joseph Vigil

Some old memories.... Found a couple of old photos and found John Moore with Dean. Both are gone now and both leave gaping holes in my heart. I was looking for the photo of Dean and the old team when we were in DC and posed with the cardboard cut our to President Bush because I was remembering when we went to DC for a meeting during the inauguration, and Dean didn't have a room Louella and I offered to let him sleep in our bath tub in our room, which he said NO!@ to... He camped out in the...

Dear Family of Dean. Dean was wonderful and I am sorry for our loss!

I last saw Dean at PED in 2012, the year I left. I ran into him a few years later on the steps of the main post office in Santa Fe. And one day, after I had retired and was working during the sessions as a bill analyst for the senate, I tapped Kris Meurer´s cell number, but Dean answered, having inherited Kris´s phone. He quickly gave me her number but readily assisted me in the questions I had. My memory of Dean was always one of someone who was clear minded, polite, eager to help, and...
