Not sure what to say?

I knew Dean for a few years in the mid-1970's when he worked for Metropolitan Nat'l Bank (Monona, WI). I was just part-time still going to school, while Dean was a couple of years older and the cashier of the bank. Dean was always great fun to be with. My fondest memory is that one Saturday, he took my wife, Sue, and I sailing on Lake Mendota. As luck would have it, the wind died, and we were drifting aimlessly. Dean and Buddy will be sadly missed here at the Harbor

Dean became a wonderful friend of mine over the last 15 years. He would ride his bike to my restaurant, the Cliff, in Laguna Beach, and sit in my station every Saturday morning. I worked with Dean for many years at Burroughs. Dean was always a joy to be around and a very funny guy. I sailed with Dean many times and had more than a few beers with him at the Country Mill. I will always consider him a friend. His stories of life were always amazing. Rest in peace till we meet again. Brian Osterhaus

I can think of few people who made me laugh more than Dean Hustad. His words, facial expressions and gestures were priceless---I miss him already. I will always remember how easy it was for Dean to make new friends and connect with people and dogs. Enjoy the journey you are currently on Dean, and I hope you'll stop by for a visit now and then--We'll leave the light on for you. Your friend, Howard (Howie) Olson.

Dean was always a great friend and trusted co-worker at Burroughs Corp. So sorry for your loss Barb!
