Not sure what to say?

Dear Verna,
Karen and I are so very sorry to hear of Dean's sudden passing and your loss. Dean was one of the kindest, gentlest, and most cheerful people we have ever known. Dean made a lasting impact at the National Bureau of Property Administration and his absence will be deeply felt by his colleagues, family, neighbors, and the property tax profession.

John and I were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Dean's passing. May you find strength and comfort in one another, and may the love of family and friends be a source of strength.
