Johnny and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked for Deanna as a lab tech at Byron Martin and later as a computer tech at the Main Street campus of South Plains College. She took me under her wing and taught me the daily workings of a computer network. Not only was she a very competent and professional administrator, she was a thoughtful and caring person. I will always keep the memory of Deanna in a special place. I wish you all peace and comfort in this time.

I lost one of my angels on earth on August 3, 2016. Deanna and I had a special relationship. We have shared times of happiness with laughter and times of sorrow with tears. She helped me find a home church by inviting me to attend church with her and Johnny. That was 12 years ago and I have been blessed in so many ways.. I am going to miss her lovely smile and kind words but I rejoice with her as she enters into her heavenly home. My heart and prayers are with her family now as she would want. I pray each of you will find comfort in knowing she is at peace. I love you guys and am here for you. Carla Strickland
