Not sure what to say?

I just learned today of Deanna's passing. I gooogled her to see if she was still with us. I was teaching Biology at Garces when Deanna joined the department and brought such a wealth of knowledge and experience to the department and school. In particular I remember her laughter and infectious personality. What a gift she was for all of us who knew her and had the privilege to work beside her.

Rest in peace Doodles. Your smile lit up the room. We were lucky to have you.

We were married the same summer as John and Deanna. Tom had gone to Loyola High School with John. We became couple friends at U.S.F. Our daughter Bridgett and John Vincent were born within 2 weeks of each other. We shared many fun and memorable times together. Deanna was a kind caring and dedicated person. Our sympathies to John Vincent Patrick Christopher Kelli Ann Gloria and Paula

I worked with Deanna in the Science Dept. at Garces Memorial High School. On some days when I entered my classroom in the morning I'd find a cookie waiting for me on my desk - Deanna had placed it there to start my day on a happy note and keep my spirits up. Deanna was a kind and thoughtful person, and I will miss her.

To my cousins; feeling sad with you, but remembering our fun family visits when we were children. I will be thinking of all of you on Monday with much love.

Doodles,
Loved your smile.
Loved your manner.
RIP,

I graduated from Garces in 1999 and Mrs. McCauley was one of my favorite teachers - she taught my honors biology and AP biology courses. I was fortunate to be able to keep in touch with her through the years and always looked forward to her letters! I will miss her! For her family... may your memories of her bring you peace.
