I just learned of Debbie's passing. She was my best pal throughout childhood. Wish I could have joined family and friends in some storytelling about growing up together. Laughter was our life, even at the most inappropriate times. I remember once, kneeling at the altar waiting for communion when something our youth minister said struck us in a particularly funny way. Dear Carrie and Lincoln,
Your mother always was the bright smile at Steck and at Crestmoor, and at the grocery store, or wherever we saw her. Her love for you both, and for her family of friends and all her "kids" will be remembered for always. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
