Not sure what to say?

Dale, we are so very sorry for your loss. We only knew Debbie the past few years, as neighbors of the Van Brimmers. But it was clear from the beautiful light that was Debbie that her spirit was very bright. She embodied grace under fire. We were lucky to have known her, and our deepest condolences to you and your family.

I worked at the Limited with Debbie and the first thing I think of when I hear her name is big bright sunshine. She always positive, smiling and kind. I do remember a funny story I want to share with you. It was when Cabbage Patch dolls came onto the scene and Mark, MIke and Lee, "kidnapped" her little girl. They sent a polaroid of her bound and gagged asking for a ransom. I went to Debbie and told her I knew how to fix them. We got them the chocolate they wanted then I proceeded to poke...

Debbie!
Was who/what we all should strive to be. Gracious in life and in her fight with her cancer. Always with a smile and a hug. Her mom kept me up with her until she passed in 2000 and then her Aunt Mary Ellen would fill me in on her happy life with a wonderful, loving hubby. She was blessed to have a happy, full life while she was on this earth, although cut short. She lived a full, giving life. She will be in our hearts forever. Loved & Missed more than she would ever have...

Debbie was the kind of person who inspired everyone around her to be a better person. Her postive energy was contagious. She always had a big smile and a hug for us! Dale-we know that Debbie is looking down and smiling on you and your courage!

Dear Dale and family,
It seems Debbie has been an influence in my life for almost 20 years...first meeting her at a mutual friend's home in Dublin and then journeying with her through her cancer and my subsequent two. She was so strong despite her tears and fears. She touched so many lives. I imagine more than she might have realized and in more ways than I can list. Her strength, courage and determination through this journey has been an inspiration to so many people, especially me....

Dale, so sorry to hear about your loss. It sounds like she was a wonderful person. Our deepest sympathy.

So sorry to hear of your loss Dale. She truly "fought the good fight" as an example for all of us. Our prayers are with you and your family.

I remember Debbie with great affection and respect. Although I didn't know her well, every time we'd see each other she was upbeat, positive and fun to be with. She was loved by many and will be sorely missed.

Debbie hired me to work on her team at Limited Stores 25 years ago this year. She was the foundation for the career I still love today. She will alwys be in our hearts.
