Dear Kurt,

I just went to Nisky Hill and saw the new stone. I don't think I was notified by the cousins group of Deborah's passing but my memory is not great.

I was visiting my parents and went to the cemetery to clean up Jeff's stone. I usually check Uncle Bob and Aunt Dolly's stones at the same time, but I saw they were in good shape.

I am so sorry. I remember meeting your wife at one of the reunions. She was a very warm person. I'm sure this is a very difficult time...

Kurt--We are so sorry to hear about Deborah's passing. Your tribute to her captured her spirit and the legacy she will leave. We are all better for have known her, and she devoted her time to making this world a better place. Every time I see the flowers blooming in your former yard I will think of her and how you both cultivated this corner of the world. So sorry to hear this sad news. I worked with Deborah at Wiley House and shared many fun times with her. She was a joyful force of nature & had a heart of gold. She was so good with the children, probably due to her own childhood. I know you were the love of her life. May God bless you at this difficult time.
