Deborah Marie Larkin

I coached Debbie and my wife in the Westerly Women Softball League back in the mid seventies. Debbie played second base and it was hard to get a ball past her. She was a smart base runner and a good hitter. A play I will never forget, a ball was hit high over second base behind Debbie. Playing center field was my cousin Debbie Spears. Both girls were running to the ball, I shouted out Debbie, Debbie the rest is history the ball dropped in for a base hit. We won the game so all was forgotton....

I worked with Debbie at the then Westerly Nursing Home back in the early seventies. Such a sweet girl and so attentive to her patients. My condolences to her family.
