Debra Polzin Obituary

Debra Polzin

September 16, 1958 - September 1, 2025

Debra Jean Polzin, 66, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025 at her home, following a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born on September 16, 1958 and was the oldest of three children. She graduated from Bloomington High School in 1976. She worked in various medical offices throughout her life. Debra loved her pets and spent much of her time in her beautiful yard; as her knowledge and ability with plants was her passion.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Connie Fitch.

Surviving are her father, David (Janet) Polzin, Bloomington and two brothers, Jeff (Shawn) Polzin, Bloomington and Mike Polzin, Murfreesboro, Tenn. Also surviving is her faithful four-legged companion, "Beau."

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Wishbone Animal Rescue.

A private family memorial will be held. Cremation rites have been accorded and East Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family.

So sorry for your loss, Jeff, Dave and Mike. Debbie was a great gal back in the day, and since then, too, I'm sure, and I have very fond memories of all of you from Lincoln St. and Lakeside. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Jeff Roley
