Deirdre Carol Collins

Deirdre (Ms. Collins) was the best math professor ever. I am very saddened to discover this news, after I told my little sister to take her course this semester. I started taking pre Calculus with her up through Calculus II and became her teacher's assistant for the courses until I transferred out of Glendale College. She was an inspiration and always had me pushing myself. I use the skills I acquired in her courses, daily. I owe a lot to her. She will be missed.

Deirdre was a lovely, wonderful, kind, and highly intelligent woman. She will be dearly missed. I will always remember her dry sense of humor and pragmatic approach to her life. Mostly I will miss her stories about her life, friends, family, and coworkers. She possessed such a keen insight into people and a wonderful way of narrating life's events.

Deirdre was also a huge cat lover and she leaves behind two adorable kitties, Mobius, and Hillary.
