Not sure what to say?

I am so blessed to have been born into this family. So many memories of my mother who I endearingly called "Janey". God's gift. I will cherish my middle name "Dee" forever. Love you Mom.
To paraphrase the words of K. Rinehart - "We can be left with nothing greater than gentle memories of one who has touched many lives in many ways. Let us go on celebrating the time we had together and find the treasure of remembering. Instill the comfort of believing that each life is indeed a gift...

Dee and Roger were the first people we met in Saint Louis at our church, St. Paul’s Des Peres, in 2007 and from that day, our two young daughters regarded them as their grandparents away from home. Dee crocheted a purse for each girl and they are special keepsakes even now. I interviewed Dee and Roger for an article in the church newsletter, and found their enthusiasm and friendliness delightful. I have missed Dee ever since we moved away five years later. It’s very comforting to know that...

A great grandma, and so loving. I just wanted to say I love you Grandma one last time.

A dear aunt and faithful Christian. Our prayers and sympathy. Larry and Jean Rockemann

Tom and Shanti: I was saddened to read of your Mom's passing. She was quite a firecracker! I enjoyed the time I spent with her as she always made me laugh and never complained...well a few times maybe....I'm glad she was able to spend most of her later years in the cottage as she enjoyed it so much. Thanks for allowing me to help her.

Almost every day I thought about my friend Dee. I was her caregiver for a year when she still made her home in her cottage. Even after that, a few shifts spending time with her until she began residing at Meramec Bluffs. She was such a pleasure, and an inspiration to me.

In my mind, Aunt Dee will always be linked with the split-level in Melrose Park and the good times our family had there. Sending prayers for the entire family's comfort knowing that she is forever home with her Lord and Savior!
