Nick and Family; My prayers are with, and for, your family at this sad and difficult time. I only met your father one time, at the office. Reading his obit I can tell that he was an extraordinary and wonderful man. Bob Rumney.

Nicky, your dad was a great man. Some of my best memories are centered around the Little League which he seemed to build single handedly at times! His outgoing nature and his love for people really showed. He always treated all of us with respect and encouraged us when we needed it the most. Be assured he is home now with your mom, Ann and your brother John.I hope you know how much the Compton family loved and respected both your mom and your dad. My best wishes and warmest regards to you and...

I am so sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed your dad's visits whenever my mom was in town. I hope your memories will help ease the sadness of your loss.

Nicky may the Lord be with you and your family at this time of need. Your Dad was a wonderful man, all of us that remember him from "Little League Baseball" shall never forget. He will always be in your heart and ours.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Nicky, please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beloved dad. Your precious memories of such a wonderful dad, who also created so many good memories for young athletes in Hampton, will hopefully sustain you through this difficult time.
