Nick and Family; My prayers are with, and for, your family at this sad and difficult time. I only met your father one time, at the office. Reading his obit I can tell that he was an extraordinary and wonderful man. Bob Rumney.

Nicky, your dad was a great man. Some of my best memories are centered around the Little League which he seemed to build single handedly at times! His outgoing nature and his love for people really showed. He always treated all of us with respect and encouraged us when we needed it the most. Be assured he is home now with your mom, Ann and your brother John.I hope you know how much the Compton family loved and respected both your mom and your dad. My best wishes and warmest regards to you and to your family during this time of sorrow. Nicky, if there is a ball field in Heaven, your dad is there on it, I'm sure.

Best regards, Gary Compton
