Not sure what to say?

Hi, Was surprised to see this was still on line, but OH SO HAPPY. I was writing your address today to send a belated holiday card and saw in my side notes that Del passed on the 16th. I pray you are all doing well. We are. Jane has been off work for a bit she has had a few torn muscles/legaments and will need surgery to repair. Winter has been rather mild till these pass few days. Thinking of you and the family at this time and really thru out the year. Take care and do keep in touch. ...

Dear Mildred and Family, Sorry to hear of Del's death. I will remember him and all of you in my prayers. I was unable to attend his service but remembered him at Mass that Day.

Mil. I'm sorry I wasn't informed of Delbert's passing and just saw it in the paper. Please know that if I'd know I certainly would have attended his funeral. I've held such a high regard for both of you through the years please know that my prayers are with you. Laura Laybourne

Del Stumpff always treated me like a son rather than an employee, he showed me the ropes in the construction industry and in life. I will always carry a bit him and you Mil, with me. You both have been so kind to me, thanks for sharing your time and wisdom with me. If I can only be half the man Del was, I would be happy. We lost a great man. I'm so sorry for your loss Mil, I love and respect you both.

Mildred and family...our thoughts and prayers are with you.
we have wonderful memories of fun times with you and Delbert, through business and a personal friendship. He was a great person and we will always remember him. God bless you.
Sincerely Frannie and Brenda Fasching

To Karen:
Just by chance I saw in the Star that your father had passed. I remember meeting him when we were at KU. I read some of the other enteries in the guest book and found them very touching. I know this is a great loss for you and your family. My prayers are with you.

Hi Millie and family
We just heard last evening. Lenny called and left a message at the home number. I was so sadden to find our info was not correct about date of death and that we'll not be able to be there for the funeral, as it is today. Our hearts are heavy with this wonderful persons' leaving but as we all know we he is in his glory with His savior. This is one house he can proudly say he also helped to build. Leonard Sr. I am sure met him at the gates with open arms. I shall...

Lawrence and I want to let all of you know how sorry we are over Del's death. He was truely one of the nicest people we have known. Know that you are in our prayers.

One of the great american heroes of WWII. Uncle Del was a great guy. I always remember him laughing about something. He and my dad would start telling stories and both would be having a great time. I will/have missed him by living in Colo. My family loved coming back to KC for Christmas, as we would have the Christmas gag gift exchange. There always be good/funny stuff going on. Del usually was in the middle of it. He was a great father and husband. Your in a better place, you and dad can...
