Not sure what to say?

Delton Ehni was the real deal! A man of faith who loved his family and friends, and who proudly and honorably served his country. He was one of the last members of, what many have called, the greatest generation.

Our fathers were brothers. Sons of immigrant farmers who had fled from the oppression of 19th century Europe and came to America seeking only freedom and an opportunity for a better life for themselves and their family. It was from those roots that our dads learned...

Several years ago I had the true pleasure of going to a country western bar with Delt, his grandson, and Paul and Marilyn Ehni. Marilyn and I danced with Delt for at least an hour. Talk about a beautiful smile on his face. Just made you smile to look at his grin from ear to ear. Thank you Delt.

These last few years I have gotten very close to Delton. We would have our little talks every week and I know he was a Packers fan for many years, he turned into a big NDSU Bison fan these past years. He was always happy when my son Jason would be the one who would change the bedding on his bed each week. Jason, who happens to have Down Syndrome, would have some great conversations with Delton. I will definitely miss our visits.❤❤

Delton will surely be missed by all at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd. He brought spunk and fun to many around him. He had an impish grin and a sparkle in his eyes that made the days go better.

Delton was always very special to me. I didn't get to see him often but he has always had a place in my heart. You will be missed my dear cousin.
