Dear Blank Family,

I am in shock this morning hearing of Denise's passing. Denise was an amazing artist and friend. I worked at Byzantium, where we met, and she was always full of joy and fantastic ideas. She loved color, her family and her community. At the counter of the store she would teach me words in Yiddish and she would counsel me on how to find a good mensch. She taught me the fine difference between complaining and kvetching. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren...

Blank family, Denise was my idol. The most wonderful person I have known.

Dear Blank family, I was grief stricken and in shock when I heard of Denise's passing. She was a kind soul and will be missed in the Grandezza community

I'm so sorry to the family of Mrs. Blank. This woman was absolutely amazing! Mrs. Blank was the first teacher that showed me genuine love, kindness, and compassion. Mrs. Blank was an amazing source of strength to my family and myself. She was ALWAYS there for me when I needed her...a light that was so needed in this world. Dear Blank Family, I am do sorry for your loss of your dear one, Denise. She was a lovely lady. She was a caring teacher of all. She was so kind to send me a beautiful basket of flowers for my birthday which was on Easter one year. I still cherish the basket she so generously sent me. I am saddened to learn of her passing. May God give you comfort.
