Bow, NH - METAMORA, INDIANA/BOW, NEW HAMPSHIRE – Denise Ann Sanel, (75) went to Heaven to be with the Lord on June 12, 2024. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" 2 Corinthians 5:8.

Denise was born on November 4, 1948 in Concord, NH, the daughter of Frank and Madeline Williams (Clattenburg). Denise was the 2nd of Frank and Madeline's 6 active children, growing up in Loudon and East Concord, and spending a good amount of her youth attending to her siblings, easily becoming the 2nd mother. All through her lifetime she was attending to someone else; her husband Ed, her parents, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

Denise had an incredible life with Ed and traveled the world, and even flying her own plane when she became a private pilot. She had so many wonderful memories of these adventures and always said she had done it all. After Ed's passing she continued her travels with Madeline and her family. Denise was a 1966 graduate of Concord High School, she was employed at Concord Group Insurance and Sanel Auto Parts in Concord, NH.

Denise made her second home in Metamora, Indiana, and along with her mother Madeline, spent the second half of her life restoring her antique B&B. She loved her life in Indiana and had so many wonderful friends around her.

Her artistic talents could be seen in her masterful stained glass projects and renovation skills. I think there are very few reading this obituary who were not touched by her kindness, and have a piece of her beautiful art in their life. Her legacy will live on in the beautiful colors that each piece displays, especially when the light hits them just right. Her ability to work endlessly on these projects was amazing, even at times when her body was very tired.

There was no one she wouldn't take the time to reach out and help, even the homeless person, making sure they had money to buy their dog food.

Denise was the most selfless person there ever was in this world and made friends with everyone she ever met. She was an amazing soul and we will miss her and with every breath we take, because she certainly loved us with every one of hers.

She is survived by; her beloved black lab; Jake, her step children; Liane Rose of Key West, Florida, Melissa Sanel; of Key West Florida, Edward Sanel III of Manchester, NH and 3 grandchildren. Her sisters; Linda Fish and her husband William of Marlow, NH, Darlene Houghton and her husband Larry of Bow, NH, Maydene Koppel and her husband Donald of Goshen, NH. Her brothers; Thomas Williams and his wife Paula Williams of Barnstead, NH and Gregory Williams of Barnstead, NH. Her grandchild; Anthony Capizzano and his wife Janet of Mission Viejo, CA and great grandchildren; Gianna and Arabella, a niece and several nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband; Edward Sanel Jr. her parents; Frank and Madeline Williams and her step daughter; Sharon Sanel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday June 28, 2024 at 10:00 am at Christ the King Parish, 72 South Main St. Concord, NH. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Cemetery St. in East Concord, NH, 03301
