Not sure what to say?

I've read the wonderful tributes given for Denise and thought everyone had pretty much said it all but then I remember seeing her at a nearby plaza just a couple months ago and she told me about her illness. She was smiling, brave, no complaining, no whining - she smiled. This is the Denise I remember, whatever was going on she kept smiling. I worked at the Colony with her and lived in the same area as Denise - I would often see her walking past my condo...she will be missed. May God...

I played Miss Sarasota Softball with Denise. She was one of the great players the league had. We traveled together to Bermuda and also to the National All Stars in California (1979). I was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts are with you
