I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. Mary Louise, please let me know if there is anything I can do for any of you.

To the Coughlin family,

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Coughlin's passing. I appreciated his and Ruth's resilience in the face of adversity, and am relieved that his period of adversity is over. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mrs. Coughlin, Mark and family,
We were deeply sorry to hear of Doc's passing. In addition to being a great doctor and an inspiring man, he sure knew how to enjoy life and family. The two summers I was fortunate enough to accompany him and the boys on the Tennessee River trips only remind me of his incredible goodwill, his hearty laugh and great smile. He will be missed as a Knoxville Icon.

Dear Mrs. Coughlin and Kids,
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Dennis who was so kind to all of us at KCHS. I will never forget taking the kids out to Breckinridge!!! Dr.Dennis lived a full and rich life and will be sorely missed by all of us...John DeBakker

Dear Ruth and Family: What a treasure Dennis was!! I am very fortunate to have known and enjoyed him and the Family for over 40yrs. I will always keep him in my prayers and am so grateful he passed my way. I can't say Good bye to Dennis, I can only say 'Til we meet Again, because I know we will! Love, Larry Dietz,

Mrs. Coughlin,
Sorry to hear of Dr. Coughlins passing. May God bless you and your family.

Mrs. Coughlin, Dennis and siblings,
We didn't hear about Dr. Coughlin passing until today. We would have liked to have been present personally to show our support for your family. Please know that you will be in our prayers.

Ruth Coughlin brought me food and friendship when I lost my Husband
to this evil disease. My Husband was
in Doc's group at the Wellness Community
and he dearly loved and admired him (as I do) for his quick wit, his courage and his immense fortitude. I extend my deepest sympathies to Ruth and to their wonderful family. I am so sorry I was not able to attend visitation or todays services for Doc was truly a man to be honored.
