Not sure what to say?

So sorry....Dennis was a man of many interests - I knew him because of his interest in John and June Cash. He was one of our most enthusiastic fan club members and one of the few members who stayed in touch with me after we closed out the fan club. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am sorry to here of Dennis passing. I have know Dennis for several years now, we visited sevral times at my frame shop and even after I closed it. He was always bringing something in to fix up and I always enjoyed visiting with him. He well be greatly missed.
Rose Thompson, Logan Ia.

I remember Dennis and his enthusiasm for the "Chubick - Casebolt" reunion each year. Dennis was a huge promoter of family ties and keeping the reunion going strong. I liked his sense of humor and smile. My deepest sympathy.

I have known Dennis for many years. From the first moment we met, we became instant friends, and found we had many common relatives. We both had many common interests and could easily talk for hours. When he found out I was a Johnny Cash fan, that sealed it!I last had lunch with Dennis at the funeral of another common friend, Tom Gilmore in early November and last talked to him by phone a week before Christmas. We shared so many great experiences including lunch with Tommy Cash in 2007....

We are truly sorry to hear that Dennis is gone...he was such an open and warm person, always with a smile and greeting....we saw him at many antiques shows and he made us feel a part of everything, even when we were just "newbies"....he will be sadly missed...

I'm very sad to hear of the loss of Dennis. I have memories of him from my early childhood and on. I remember going to his house and being intrigued by his home. It was like a museum in there, with so much to look at. I remember his love of Johnny Cash and his promotion work with my Dad. And of course we always looked forward to Dennis' annual Christmas cards! My heart goes out to his family, friends and Council Bluffs, who will all definitely miss Mr. Dennis Devine.

I will miss Dennis and his visits to the shop.

Council Bluffs has surely lost an icon. He was such a wonderful promoter and friend of the Pike Brothers Band. He never forgot the family at Christmas and kept us all informed of his promotions. He will be missed.
