Mr. Dennis W. Bill Dugan, 67, passed away peacefully at home on September 22, 2014. Bill is survived by his loving family and the many friends and acquaintances that had the pleasure to know him. Bill was a lifelong worker. He owned and operated a sand and gravel, trucking and excavating business in Brewster, MA where he was born and raised. He and his family moved to Richfield Springs in 1986 to fulfill his dream of owning a dairy farm. Bill loved his farm and all the things that went along with raising his family in the environment of farming life. Upon his retirement from dairy farming, Bill became an entrepreneur dealing in hay sales, truck and heavy equipment. Bill was a true renaissance man who was able to reinvent himself to earn a living and provide for his family in good times and bad. Surviving him are his loving wife of 41 years, Elaine; his beloved children, Ryan, Erin and fiancee, Jeremy Mason, daughter, Katie Dugan Atty; and his grandsons, Parker and Cooper. Also surviving are two brothers, David and Dion and wife, Nancy, sister, Diane Bronsdon, and brother-in-law, Michael Lindblom; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, September 28th between 3 and 5PM at The Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road (Town of Frankfort), Ilion, NY where friends will gather to celebrate Bills unique life and share memories of him. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation in Bills memory. Thank you all for your kind words about Bill. He loved his family. We had 41 yrs of marriage, three incredible children and two amazing grandsons. Bill suffered for many yrs with Myasthenia Gravis but never complained. Our hearts are broken, but as time passes we hope our happy memories with him will help ease our pain. He will always be missed and loved.

sorry to hear about billy passing i knew billy at st joan of arc school he was alot of fun cruising the herring brooke and all the old cattle lands of brewster im sure he will be sorely missed aloha to his family michael harris holualoa hawaii

My deepest sympathy to Bill's wife Elaine, family and friends of Bill Dugan. Although a time of deep sorrow it is also a time to reflect on all the many wonderful times some difficult some great but shared. It is also a time to reflect on the prospect of Jehovah God's promise of a resurrection when we will be able to rejoice when seeing our loved ones again who have fallen a sleep in death.

Dear Elaine,

Dear Elaine, I was very saddened to hear of Bill's passing. I have fond memories of making your wedding cake, transporting it from Vt to the Cape, and decorating it 'til the wee hours of the a.m. It doesn't seem possible it was 41 yrs ago!!!! I remember you & Bill visiting our farm a few times on your trips to get equipment from Canada. How things can change. Take comfort in all your memories you shared with Bill and with your children.
