Dear B. I do not you, buy I did Mike for a short period of time at PAPD. I had the utmost respect and confidence in him. He and I fought side by side and I could not have been more grateful. The world is a lessor place without him. God Bless, Hank Barnes Jr.

Barbara, I am so sorry for your loss and for Mike losing his battle to multiple myeloma as did my mother in 1990. I worked with Mike at the Palo Alto Police Dept. and thought of him as gentle man who was dedicated to his work. I worked in the Communication Center and he on the other side of the radio. He respected the life he was given and lived it to the fullest. Joni Canoose Corley

I worked with Mike for 15 yrs in Palo Alto. I've been in touch, via emails for the past 10 yrs, as Mike battled his cancer. Mike was always in great physical shape, as he loved to work out, run, hike, etc. Its too bad this disease finally won out. Best wishes Barbara.
